As the pics say, I'll do any line art- or colored commission for the price above, provided the background is minimal. More than one character may cost a little extra, but I will make it to exact specifications!
I also do DW icons! Any style, any character, any expression just a $1, a whole set of 15 for $15! As seen here all my icons are drawn from my own art from scratch, but I will gladly do manga recolors all the same!

Of course I'd be more than happy to do a demo sketch for you, before tackling all 15, so you can be sure you like the look of him first before you decide :3
Any descriptions you have would be helpful! Was there any particular style you were going for?

Date: 2013-10-15 07:49 pm (UTC)Well, my OC is a 15 year old dragon-boy called Kai, meaning he looks mostly human but he has a pair of small pointed horns, pointed ears, fangs (which you can only see if he's grinning/has an open mouth) and a tail (though you probably wouldn't see it in these icons?). He can also breathe fire, though this isn't something he does very often! He has short white hair and pale red eyes and is generally kind of round-faced and child-like in appearance. I was actually thinking the character in your icons has a similar face-shape/hair-shape that I was thinking of, if that's a style you could emulate. |D
Personality-wise he's quite subdued and subservient since he lives in a place where his kind are oppressed by humans and essentially used as servants/slaves. He got lucky and works for a wealthy lady in a big household so he's generally more well-kept than most of his kind, but he's still very cautious about stepping out of line. He's generally polite and friendly to everyone he meets and always willing to help out, but more out of a feeling of necessity than anything. :3
Oh and in terms of expressions, maybe something along these lines: sad smile, happy smile, thoughtful, lonely, embarrassed/blushing, surprised, busy, apologetic, angry (you can add fire for this if you want), unimpressed, neutral, talking/conversational, laughing, suspicious, last one of your choice? |3

Date: 2013-10-16 07:26 pm (UTC)The girl in my icons is actually from the anime Soul Eater- and since that anime already has a protagonist with white hair and red eyes, I tried not to emulate its style too much (but I gladly will do it more, if that is really what you want)

I also broke down what makes each design unique, and also colored one to give you an idea of a color scheme:
1 has-
a more mature face
short spiky hair
longer straight horns
2 has-
a more simplified look
rounder youthful face
simplified nose
thick fluffy hair
longer horns with a crook
3. has-
more realistic look
rounder youthful face
flat thin hair
curved horns
4. has-
rounder youthful face
mix of flat and fluffy hair
shortest pointed horns
Feel free to mix and match what you like from each design and let me know if I'm missing something else you'd like to add (I put him in a sweatervest because it seemed like the sort of attire rich people would dress him in)
If you're all set, I'll move on to making the final icons ^__~

That would match perfectly! :3 The colours all look great too (and I kind of like him in that scarf too if you could incorporate some kind of... coat or something maybe?), so I'm fine with you continuing! ^^

Date: 2013-10-21 03:50 pm (UTC)Anyway, her name's Anje and she's a Astrasiel in her mid-twenties who appears mostly human beyond a few traits that makes her stand out. Namely, her ears are pointed and she has very piercing green eyes (a trait of being able to see "cracks" in the fabric of reality). The ears tend to stay concealed under her very, very wavy (if not messy) dark brown hair, though. I've done a (admittedly terrible) sketch here to give you a fair idea of her appearance. She has a bit of freckles too, though it might be hard to see them in my sketch! She is from a modern-era world and her choice in clothing reflects that as a whole. She dresses practically for travelling, however, and tends to cover herself up with long sleeved clothing if possible.
Personality-wise, she's very direct and to the point most of the time and she's a bit slow to trust others. If there's something (or someone) she doesn't like, she's not afraid to voice her opinion. As a result, some people find her very difficult to deal with. Basically she has a bit of an icy exterior. She can be manipulative and willing to use people to her own ends as well, and she can be rather secretive. But she does have a very soft side to her as well, and she's capable of warming up to others given time.
As far as expressions go, hopefully these should be okay?: Calm, contemplative, aside glance, distant, piercing gaze/anger, annoyed sigh, sadness/regret, peaceful/content smile, vulnerable, concern, mischevious grin, horrified, suspicion, empathetic, and I'll leave the last to you!

Date: 2013-10-26 05:46 pm (UTC)Okay, I was originally going to try about four different art styles, but your sketch of Anje was so spot on already, I ended up only having about two that showcased her differently. They are a little bit messy, I promise the real thing will look much cleaner.

On the left is a standard basic anime style, I wanted her eyes to look piercing and strong so they have a slight slant to them, the features are "sharper" with thicker lines and a pointed jaw. She isn't very detailed, but I can easily amp that up with the coloring.
The second sketch on the right has a rounder face and a bit of a softer line art to it, allowing for more detail which I think works better for her hair. I also went ahead and pronounced her lips a bit more to give a more feminine appearance.
(I had to keep the eyes fairly large so they would register well as icons, but if she looks too youthful I can work on aging her up a bit more!)
Below are just two color samples I did to give you an idea how the lineart would look colored.
Hopefully something is what you are looking for. if there are certain features you like on one but not the other (the pronounced lips, the jawline shape ect), I can easily mix and match until we find a good mashup, but if neither are your cup of tea, no worries! I can certainly try again and just look into some other styles.

However, I may be a little slow starting up as I already have a 15 set commission to finish first (It shouldn't take me more than 1-2 weeks tops; and I could certainly try my hand at tackling some of yours at the same time).
What sort of character are you interested in? If there is any reference, descriptions, or specific art styles you already might have in mind for them, I'd love to hear. Anything that can help me narrow down what sort of look you'll be after :3

Date: 2014-05-25 12:42 am (UTC)Basically the character is a polar bear cub (re: the icon currently). No human features, just a polar bear cub. This is a good reference for his size and general bear features. But he needs to be expressive, so to have icons that represent happiness, sadness, fear etc. He has a scar over his left eye (think like Scar from The Lion King). As far as art style, I love what I saw of the dragon boy you did for someone else.
Expressions wise, just a range but there needs to be at least one or two angry/frightened/injured ones, as he is a cub in the Ice Military.

I will get to work on some concept art for him as soon as I am able. (Oh yes, I loved the art style I used for that dragon-boy) And once I'm sure you like the general look of the concepts, I can get to work for drafting the rest.
I'll go by the general expressions guidelines as you suggested, but if you have any questions, or think of any more icon choices you'd prefer to have, feel free to message me at any time.

Although I usually do some preliminary sketches, we already had Jack's design pretty well cemented from your last batch of icons, so I went ahead and just started on figuring out how best to make some emotive faces based on your requests.
Not 100% finished just yet, but here's just a little teaser to let you know how things have been going along.
Hopefully all is still looking well. My current goal is to get this 100% done by this weekend at least. I will be in touch if you need me. See you soon!

I used a little more cartoonish features in some of these compared to before to hopefully get a little more emotion across where needed, but hopefully it still appears to have a consistent style.
